Summary-
Incandescent light has been changing urban life since it's creation. It has been regarded by some as the greatest invention in America's history. The effects of this electric light have ranged across professions and lifestyles, and the impacts can still be seen since it first amazed Americans at Menlo Park towards the end of 1879. When these lights began shining across America in the 1930's, many were inspired to invent their own devices and patents, but this inspiration is no longer an impact on the current generation. Although some have now lost the wonder that was originally found in the first light bulbs, the world is still building off of Edison's invention and working toward a better bulb.
